Overnight Boarding

We help take the stress out of traveling by providing a safe and structured environment for your pooch while you are away!

So, what does a normal day look like for a boarded dog at The Pooped Puppy? The Pooped Puppy opens for daycare at 6:00 am Monday through Friday.  The boarding dogs are fed individually in their rooms at 6:00 am and are let out of their rooms at 6:30 am, giving them plenty of time to grub. After the dogs eat, they are let outside into the dog run to do their morning business. After that, we put them into their perspective daycare play areas for the day.

Yup! Your dog gets to mingle, play, and relax with other dogs from 6:30am until the last daycare dog gets picked up, which is usually around 7:30-7:45 pm. Once all the daycare dogs are picked up, the boarding dogs are put back into their rooms and fed dinner.  Each dog also gets their own personal water bowl to drink from.

Because of your pup’s busy day at daycare, it’s no surprise that they are happy to eat and crash on their dog cot or personal bed for the night.

Leave your pup with us while you are away on vacation or a business trip. It will be like your dog is on a vacation too!

Getting Started - What You Need to Know!

The Pooped Puppy Requirements to Play

  • All dogs must be free of parasites (fleas and ticks) and currently on a flea/tick preventative (such as frontline). All dogs are inspected upon entry into the facility if parasites are found they will be flea bathed and dipped at an additional cost to you.
  • Our guests must be a minimum of four months of age.
  • Dogs must be in a good condition of health. (No coughing, vomiting, or diarrhea 48 hours prior to arrival at the facility) We can not accept aggressive or anti-social aggressive dogs.
  • All dogs must be brought in and out of the facility on a collar and leash.
  • All dogs must have current vaccination records to include DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus), BORDETELLA, and RABIES. Please bring a copy of your pet’s vaccination records with you. Always plan ahead as your vet may be closed.
  • Prior to boarding or attending daycare with us, your dog MUST COMPLETE the temperament assessment as our facility is NOT designed to handle dogs in segregation.
  • Dogs wishing to stay with us must be spayed or neutered. (Unaltered dogs destabilize the pack, and are at greater risk for injury by other dogs)

At The Pooped Puppy Daycare the SAFETY of Our Guests Comes First

As such we cannot accept aggressive dogs or dogs with an inability to interact socially with other canines. In order to ensure the happiness and well-being of our guests, all dogs are required undergo a "Temperament Test" prior to being allowed to participate in daycare or boarding activities. This gives us the opportunity to ascertain the temperament and social skills of the dog, and to ensure that the dog will enjoy participating in the services offered by The Pooped Puppy. The Pooped Puppy temperament test is designed to ensure that we do not accept aggressive or anti-social dogs.
